Culture of Instructional Excellence
As part of preparing students for citizenship and work, last year more than 5,500 Jeffco students were concurrently enrolled in college classes, collectively earning 29,188 college credits, equating to $4.48M in tuition savings for families. Additionally, 785 students enrolled in Work Based Learning experiences that included internships and apprenticeships to explore future career opportunities.
Every single comprehensive high school in Jeffco – plus Warren Tech – offers at least one Concurrent Enrollment course. In addition, Jeffco has launched the College For All (C4A) program where students can take Concurrent Enrollment courses synchronously remote to ensure equitable access to courses that are guaranteed to transfer to Colorado four year universities.
The district is incredibly proud of these extraordinary experiences that Jeffco students have to test drive careers, accelerate their learning and save money on their postsecondary education!
